Le Vie del Barocco

As already seen, the concert activity of the Association does not end in the city of Genoa, or in the region of Liguria. Since 2001, the Collegium Pro Musica has been organizing in the city of Turin another important event, named as “Le Vie del Barocco” (The Baroque Ways). Le Vie del Barocco is a cycle of concerts dedicated to the music repertoire of the XVII and XVIII centuries, that is to the baroque music, expressly thought for the city of Turin in its capacity as the Baroque capital of Northern Italy. Soloists and bands of national and international level, coming from Italy and other countries, who very often have faithful copies of vintage instruments, will enliven this event which will take place in historical or prestigious places in the centre of the capital of Piedmont, from mid-June until the end of July. Ample space will be dedicated to concerts performing the music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
